If you stopped by the store this weekend, I am certain you noticed our window displays. Lately at the store you can hear us talking about all things Fall- the weather, the clothing, halloween, ~~halloween candy,~~ it really is our favorite time of year, and we really love Halloween. A lot. That mixed with our love for a good craft project and the Fall/halloween windows turned into quite a serious DIY project...

Gold spray paint, fake potions, black glitter, and a big mess later- our store windows were underway! With some black and gold mixed metal jewelry from Wendy's holiday line, and some chilling vintage jewelry with spiders pins, scarab pendants, and art deco glass gems, the jewelry fit right into our spooky window theme.

Mandala

Mandala is the Sanskrit word meaning "circle". In the Buddhist and Hindu religious traditional sacred art often takes a mandala form. Mandalas often exhibit radical balance and are employed for focusing attention of aspirants and adepts, as a spiritual teaching tool, for establishing a sacred place and as an aid to meditation and trance induction. The mandala has become a generic term for any plan, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically, a microcosm of the universe from the human perspective...

It's that time again!

We want to give a great big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our end of Summer sample sale this weekend! It was definitely a hit, with lots of deals and goodies to snatch up for all. We loved seeing our customers try on their selections at such once in season prices. Wendy is the best at helping people pick out pieces for themselves or as gifts- she can always find just what everyone is looking for! Take a look at some of our favorite shots from the weekend...
